MyPA ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal productivity and finance app developed by Vishnu C. The app is available on iOS and Android.

        Biometric data (Face ID / fingerprint) is processed entirely on your device by iOS or Android. MyPA never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric information.

        We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the MyPA service.

Where your data is stored

Your account data (notes, expenses, splits, investments) is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database operated by Google LLC. Firebase stores data in secure Google Cloud infrastructure.

App preferences and your biometric setting are stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage and are never uploaded to our servers.

Push notification tokens are managed by Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and are only used to deliver notifications to your device.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion of your data, all your personal information and content (notes, expenses, splits) will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Children's privacy

MyPA is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
Firebase Firestore uses server-side security rules to ensure users can only access their own data
App preferences and settings are stored using encrypted secure storage on your device
Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's secure hardware (Face ID / Fingerprint sensor)
We do not store passwords - authentication is handled by Google or Apple

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through a notification in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.

Continued use of MyPA after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
